SUMMARY
In this session, Otilia Dhand will give us insights in the foreign policy of Russia and its origins. She will share some tricks of political risk forecasting to help you gauge what's coming for your business when doing business in Russia.
KEYNOTE
Russia has pursued assertive foreign policy to rebuild its global power status. This policy is motivated by the belief that the unipolar world will soon give way to a global structure of regional powers and Russia wants to secure a place at the top table. However, this creates tensions and clashes of interests with other powers, including, but not limited to, the United States and the EU.
In the near to medium-term future, this dynamic will continue and have significant implications for many businesses doing business in Russia and with Russian companies. Sanctions, supply chain disruptions, and rising transaction costs are just some examples of what to watch out for. Otilia Dhand will share some tricks of political risk forecasting trade to help you gauge what's coming your way before it hits your business.
