Today marks the anniversary of the Brussels attack at the Zaventem Airport and the Maelbeek metro station.
On Tuesday 22nd March 2016, a series of explosions shattered the morning rush hour leaving thirty two civilian victims and more than three-hundred ounded, changing forever the history of this day for Brussels, the "heart of Europe".
On this day EU Events would like not only to mourn the victims of this attack and all the terrorist acts in the world, but also join the numerous calls for a stronger and more cohese Europe. In the week of the 60th Anniversary of the EU, let's stand together and face economic, security, social and political challenges with a renewed spirit of collaboration overcoming the worrying nationalists and populists trends.
